About the Role

We are seeking a talented illustrator to create engaging and colorful images for a children's book aimed at children aged 5-10. The illustrations should reflect the book's themes and capture the imagination of young readers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child-friendly design principles and be able to produce character designs, landscapes, and conceptual art that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create vibrant and engaging illustrations that align with the book's themes and appeal to children aged 5-10.
• Develop character designs, landscapes, and conceptual art that enhance the storytelling experience.
• Collaborate with authors and editors to ensure illustrations complement the text and overall vision of the book.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, to produce high-quality digital illustrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in book illustration or graphic design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work in children's book illustration or similar genres.
• Degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design is advantageous.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Familiarity with digital illustration techniques and styles.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take constructive feedback.
