CAD/CAM Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Designer to create ready-for-manufacturing files from customer designs, primarily focusing on metal gobos. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial design and a passion for transforming creative concepts into precise manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize CAM software to develop detailed designs based on customer specifications.
• Create ready-for-laser files that meet manufacturing requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the laser technician to understand the customers' designs needs and provide technical support throughout the design process.
• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing processes by leveraging CAM software and techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Industrial Design or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with CAM software for manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator for design enhancements and file preparation.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Knowledge of laser cutting processes and materials, particularly metals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
